I own the almost the entire Model and Game Air line, and about half of the Model and Game Color line (lots of colors are either identical or indistinguishable for most purposes). Other than their extra opaque series, which I have never found useful, I think Vallejo makes wonderful paints for scale miniatures (though I still use
GW paints more).
When I paint certain things like highlights, I hate using the dropper bottles, because unused Vallejo paints bleed all over the place overnight on a wet palette. So, I've actually started decanting some of my favorite Vallejo paints into washed out
GW empties

. VMC Silver is the perfect example; I use it for silver studs because it is brighter than Runefang.
