Since my forgeworld addiction has recently got me looking into fantasy models I decided that if I was going to do anything fantasy it had to start with something epic, so I opted for the Elspeth Von Draken model, since nothing screams fantasy gaming more to me than a giant dragon. I'm working on the dragon and rider seperately to try and get to as much of the detail as possible and have reached this stage in the dragon thus far. Any and all feedback is ofcourse appreciated as always!

Since this is my first fantasy army I had a few ideas for it but am struggling to find if they are suitable for fantasy.

The first is Id like to model my outriders and pistoleros on cold ones to keep in with a lizard theme for the army. I don't know if this is fluff heresy or not but it would fit the theme. I am curious as to the compatibility of the outrider and cold one rider kits.

Secondly the high elf dragon head, I'd like to model my cannons to have ornate dragon head barrels but could do with a size comparison between the two.

Finally if anyone knows of any grim dark looking dragon helms for my nuln Ironsides I would be immensely grateful. The Caledor one seem to... Delicate for what I wanted but finding parts it's challenging.


If anyone has other dragon related theme ideas they're welcome too!
