I recently read my 1st 40K book - Yarrick Imperial Creed, by David Annandale. I enjoyed it and decided to make a formation based on the main characters in the book, and here it is

Yes, in the previous edition of Warhammer 40,000: Apocalypse.

Oh wow nice! :-) I hadn't seen that.

There's also "The heroes of armageddon" in the current version of apocalypse - it's a mobbed-up High Command unit consisting of Yarrick and his command squad, Helbrecht and his command squad and Dante and a Sanguinary Guard squad.
