So there's a local tournament coming up and I've never really played at 750 points, so any advice with this list would be gratefully appreciated.

Rez Orb and Phylactery is a waste of points on the barge lord because it shouldn't die (especially at 750). If a Barge Lord dies its because it got in combat with a blob of infantry models so it won't be able to get up outside of 1" of an enemy model so never take those upgrades.

And either drop the crypteks or take a transport for the warriors. Voltaic Staffs are short range and warriors are too slow too slow to get your haywire into range (your opponent won't let you just walk up to a vehicle especially with only 6 wounds) so its just a waste of 50 points if you don't have a way to get them there.

Also when posting an army list don't just write all the special rules and weapons a unit has. We know what those rules and such are when you say what the unit is (since they always have those rules and weapons and never can change them) so it just makes the list look cluttered.. Just write what you added or changed to the unit and leave it at that.

Agree with Crown Axe pretty much.

You could afford to drop the upgrades on the Overlord bar the Warscythe and CCB, as well as an Annilihation Barge for two Nightscythes. This leaves you at 740 points...so you could change your StormTeks to LanceTeks for S8 AP2 goodness, but I wouldn't fault you for keeping Haywire Harbingers

Thanks. I was going to go with night scythes but we're going to use a 4x4 board, which means my flyers wouldn't really be of use except for two turns since they'd have to fly off the board. Do you still think two night scythes would be better or just get rid of phylactery and res orb? If so, what would be a good use of those 35 points?

Nightscythes or Ghost Arks, just something to put them in, a six man squad with 4+ is going to die very fast.

I'd say Nightscythes as then you've got mobility and can claim last turn objectives or get your StormTeks in place to pop a vehicle.

I would go with a Ghost Ark preferable. At this point size its probably more reasonably to take 1 Ghost Ark and 1 Cryptek to go in it (so drop the second cryptek and the 3rd Annhi Barge to take the Ghost Ark). Your second warrior squad will just be the unit you hold back to support you back lines.

Also no matter what you are dropping the Res Orb and Phylactory even if you don't change anything else. You can always just take more warriors.

Is this going to be Maelstrom?
If so, get 2 of those Warriors out of the Ark and throw in a single Tomb Blade. He's going to be snagging objectives for you.
You could drop the 6th foot slogging Warrior to get a second Tomb Blade just to guarantee you'll get all the objectives.

Too bad you don't have enough free to get a Veil-tek to attach to those foot Warriors. A unit like that will win Maelstrom games.
