Borrowing some Orks for a test this weekend. After the trash-talking going around, I just have an urge to troll the s*** out of the trash talker.. Plan is 2000 Pts, CAD only. (No unbound lists, etc.) I am well aware this list has no anti-air, but the Tau player I plan on trolling doesn't use flyers, so that should be fine.

Plan is to have the Burna mobs in the Gorkanauts and the Big Mek in the Stompa. Meks do their thing, and if a Gorkanaut goes down, they make a run for the Stompa to help the Big Mek. Walkers do as Orks do and Dakka and chop away. Focus is to table him, screw the objectives. Then the Orks will enjoy fried fish for dinner when all is done.

Objective secured devilfish could be a real problem for you. Any insight into what he is bringing other than no flyers?

I'd say if he gets into close combat you will have all the fried tau bodies you want, don't think they are fish though.

You really got to be careful of fusion guns being the only thing capable of taking out your huge walkers, tau really struggle with high av targets so good call there. With that in mind I would put your Gretchen's in bubble wrap just to try to mitigate that possibility.

Yeah your list could turn bad with Objectives but its a great troll list

You don't have any boyz, so take this list from the ghazgull supplement, and instead of giving the big mek the repair kit relic, give him the mega force field so the stompa has a 4++.

@Epartalis: The only vehicles thing guys tends to bring is 1-2 Hammerheads. Other than that, hordes of Fire Warriors, Ethereal, a full size squad of sniper dones, one iontide and a few Crisis suits. Maybe a Broadside or two if he's feeling it.

If you have the supplement take the 3 gorkanaughts as the Kriushin' Krew. Just some added benefits...

Sadly Combined Arms Detachments only, apparently.

I'd love to do a 1500 point army with two Krushin' Krews, though. 6 Gorkanaughts gives me a nice warm stompy feeling.

Three meks per burna boyz mob may be overdoing it. The Gorkanauts already have grot riggas (giving them one It Will Not Die roll), so giving them three more rolls on top seems excessive. You've not got much else to spend it on, though.

It's a shame the grots won't fit in the stompa too, really, but you're three models over transport capacity.
