I was wondering how good is the bajoran faction, are they playable do they have any solid strategies? I was thinking of picking them up for my second faction if any of you have played them
or know if they have any strategies or tactics?

They only have a single ship to buy retail (their other ship was a OP prize) so it's tough to put them out as their own faction. They do make great, cheap support ships though for other fleets. They are basically like fighters but easier to kill. I've been using them as flankers with my Kazon swarm fleet and they've been okay.
If you can get a hold of the prize ship you can make a torp heavy fleet pretty nasty with Kira. She was the center of my fleet in our last event and the steady stream of torps being pumped out ensured a couple of very easy victories.

Ebay for the prize ship. I haven't heard of any more Bjoran ships in the works.

There will be another Bajoran ship - same class as the OP ship out next year.

The Bajorans are fun, but not competitive. Even Romulans will clean them up pretty well. I have a build that attempts to leverage Kira with Blockade, and a few other attack buffs in order to create an early alpha strike, and while it isn't horrible, at the end of the day the ships themselves just don't hold up.
