Now that WZR is a thing, I've dug out a load of my old Imperials to play!

Apparently the main rulebook doesn't include the rules for Imperial (though I've seen that there is a PDF), and I'm not sure what cards I need to play the game, or if I need them at all. I've seen that there is a new battle force box, which has 75 cards in. If I'm not buying the new models, how do I get hold of the correct cards?

Yeah Imperial is a free PDF. New book should be out sometime, hopefully this year. You honestly don't need the cards although they do make life easier.

You can make up the resource cards or use anything from a dice to magic cards to keep track of your resources. The advanced game uses all kinds of strategy cards and such but they are not needed for the basic game. Neither of my groups have used them yet.
