Figured this was worth posting up as it's on its final day!

I'm not as into the Wizard dice, but you can add-on other specialty dice, and I'm in for these blood splatter ones to use as wound markers:

Might be a little hard to read if used as "normal" dice, but I think they're perfect for wound markers! And points for creativity in presentation, certainly

Impressive it's reached 66k. Not sure how though since those dice don't strike me as particularly worth having or easy to read.

I think it's because it's mostly aimed at D&D players (the main set has a D4, D6, D8, 2 D10s, D12 and D20). So, using it for those purposes means legibility is not as crucial as when you're rolling a lot of dice in quick succession for wargaming.

It's also why I like the blood splatter set for use as wound markers- I'm going to set them next to a model to indicate wounds, not roll them frequently.

The campaign looks likely to break it's 75K goal which gives a free set of dice to all backers... which is pretty insane! I'm kind of torn on whether I want it to be hit- the goal sounds too good. Often, I think Kickstarters give away wayyyyyyyyyyy too much stuff on the final day, when without giving anything away they would likely get a similar boost as people try to pledge before "missing out" on the campaign.

This blew past its final stretch goal- a free set of dice for each backer (with 4 hours still to go).

Like I said, that concerns me just a bit as it seems ambitious and like it wasn't even really needed, and she also never clarified what the cutoff is for getting the free set- I pledged $29 ($5 level + two sets of $12 blood splatter dice) and she messaged me that I did qualify for the free set. But yeah, that just seems a bit crazy

Anyway, I consider this one a bit riskier than most campaigns I've backed, but it's a small investment and I like the dice and the project / project creator... even if clarity may not be their strong suit

The effort put into the photos alone makes me what to back it! Really impressive to see each different type of dice to have it's on themed photo!

I was kind of interested, and think the wizard ones are pretty nice looking, but the author came off as pretty pompous, and there's not a lot of attention to detail in the KS (errors and no mention of material), for something that's clearly about the detail (lack of balance or durability can ruin dice).
