Should work well. You definitely have the turn 1 pressure advantage, with three trukks loaded with WS5 Meganobz thundering towards the enemy; your opponent has no real choice but to engage the armoured nutters, which should take the pressure off the rest of the army.

Shoota boyz with lobbas in support will chop up infantry fairly efficiently, snd the lootas can deal with light armour. Ultimately, if you can sieze and hold objectives with your footsloggers whilst the enemy's going that'salotofmegaarmourwhatthefethdoyoumeanWS5fearless?

If I had one comment, it's that you can only deal with heavy armour by putting a power klaw through it - that shouldn't be too much of a problem, but it might be worth getting a killsaw in the bullyboyz boss nobz on the off chance you come up against a knight.

Where are your characters looking at going? Grotsnik really wants to be accompanying a mega armour mob because rampage and feel no pain are disgusting on meganobz....

Each independent character is going in one of the three meganob squads. I recently used this list against Imperial Guard and won 15 to 7 in objective points. I'm looking forward to using it against other armies. After using the lobbas I may try to find a way to make them Kustom Mega Kannons instead. I didn't realize until I used them that they use the small blast marker.

even just the straight swap to regular Kannons isn't that bad IMO. Gives you versatility on the cheap.

Only thing I'd do personally is split that loota squad down the middle for target saturation, being able to target diff units, and mitigate rolling a 1 for their shots number. Sure they break slightly easier, but just go to ground in ruins all game, if you can.
