For kicks and giggles, I decided to do a Sarah Kerrigan style hive tyrant, and I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion as to what female model would be best used as the base for it?

Also, for ranged weapon bio-morphs, I thought about modeling a couple of warriors to look like Hydralisks.  However, cramming one Kerrigan, and two Hydralisks onto one large base would still leave things a little crowded.  What would be the best way to do a single 'character' that is composed of multiple models?  Put Kerrigan on the normal sized tyrant base, put the hydralisks on two small ones, and make sure that the three always move in BtB contact?

I was just thinking, give her the ghost rifle. Adding a hydralisk would be wierd just because the Hydras are bigger than her. If you really wanted to though, it's always possable to use the Warhammer model of the Slaneesh Chaos champion riding that boob beast and convert it to kerrigan riding a Hydralisk.

My first thought would be to take a Celestine figure, maybe add some Gargoyle wings to her instead of the cape/backpack, and maybe covert her sword to look like a bonesword, and add a lash whip to her other arm?

Depending on what sort of options you want (Devourers?), you could maybe have them "erupting" from the ground at her command, or something...

You might want something more original, but I've seen some very cool tyrant conversions using various queen models from ALIENS made more curvacious with similar scaled female McFarlane bits. The great thing about PVC figures is you can cut and paste your brains out.  Add a little Green stuff, and you have one hot Tyrant.

The only problem with the McFarlane bits is that I've found that they tend to sell out very soon after release, and that they then jump ten-fold in price on e-bay.

I really like the Golgotha model as it looks a lot like I had in mind.  I just have to decide whether or not the back blades are good enough, or whether I want to do something closer to the original.

I really like the succubus model's pose in that regard, and since the wings are a seperate piece, it means I can work on the back and only have to add things, instead of taking them off (the one big problem with the Golgotha model.  The power fist, pauldrons, hair spikeys, and probably the skull belt would have to go) although at 65 mm, it's about twice as tall as it should be, since she's still supposed to be human sized...

Hmm, decisions, decisions.  I was expecting I'd get reccomendations for a regular female model and have to build up everything from there.  This is  much more informative than I thought it'd be.

I think, ultimately, that having Kerrigan stand taller than the 'hydralisks' (I did some measuring, and the at 65mm, the Succubus would be slightly taller than the converted warriors, which is the opposite of how things should be...) would not quite work out, so, if I can request the aid of all you helpful readers once again, do you know of any models out there with a pose, and appearance similar to that of the succubus, but sized towards something that would fit more closely to the 28mm scale?

Otherwise, considered the new =][= death cultists? or daemonettes? They might be pretty slight, but I think that works better aesthetically than oversized femme models ...

Wow, yeah, that'd be a lot like what I'm thinking. Is that Tyrant a total conversion, or an actual model from somewhere?
