After the tumult of introducing myself and my company, I thought I would start a thread here to answer any questions you might have about me or my plans.
I am new to commercially making miniatures. Prior to this I was a long time painter and a hobbyist resin caster. I really enjoy building things and making cool stuff. Like a whole lot of people, my introduction to this was through 40k first as a player and then as a painter unsuccessfully chasing a demon of any color although I came very close a couple times. In the last 2 years I have been building up my painting skills and experience with casting. I've had an eye towards doing this for quite a while now and it seems amazing that the day is coming when I will actually be able to sell something. Needless to say, this is my dream and I want it to eventually be my full time job although, that may be a bit far off.
If you want to know more about my company, just hop on over to my website and facebook site.

If you have any questions you can reach me here or by email at HearthStoneMiniatures@gmail.com or through facebook.
I have found the single best part of this process is getting to know so many people in the hobby and in business.
So ask away!

Watch my terrible video. Tremble before its homely authenticity!
Actually, I'm terrible at these things but I did get the sculpts in today!

Looks good to me =P And the Elasmotherium is much bigger than I had imagined. I wasn't too fond of the terror birds, but seeing better angles of them makes me warm up slightly

The yellow terror bird is easily the most technically well executed out of the bunch. Pin put a little more work into these but they are a little rough and will take a small amount of work to get them ready

Freaky animals, nice! Try to get a more complete website (and try to get rid of that 'squarespace' thing in the url itself). It'll look more serious then. At least that's my first impression.
Keep up the good work though, very curious to see how this'll develop!

Got my first master cast last night! The mold filled beautifully and I got great reproduction and a near perfect copy. I'll cast some more masters tonight and then start on the master mold for the other terror bird. I am so so excited.

Another concept up on my Facebook! This rounds out the hounds of the wild hunt. I have not settled on a sculptor yet for them but that will be announced soon.

Good luck with this.
Love the Terror Birds...just finished reading Dan Simmons' "Ilium", where they get a mention... creepy.

Thanks Padre! so far its going well. I've got production moving on the first terror bird and I'm doing the production mold for the other tonight. I've had a delay working on some other stuff but I'll be back at it tonight and hopefully have some stuff up for sale this month.

Coming soon...........
My first LE project under the Hearth Stone Miniatures core line. I have the green in hand sculpted by a fine arts sculptor Yoo Jin Lee and it is fantastic. I already have the molds being made and I hope to be selling these by the end of the month. On my Wild hunt project, I have contracted Jason Wiebe to produce the hounds and he is hard at work now.
I decided the cave lion from the Ice Age Animal project needed a custom base and so that is being molded as we speak and I will soon be putting the lion with base up for sale on my site. Take a look at my product offerings. Tell me what you think.

I've gotten 4/7 molds done on this fellow and had to post a picture. I'm really excited about it. This will be my first LE release. The first cast from the mother mold came out fantastic. I'm excited to share this.
