Contacted him thru Facebook a number of times before getting blocked, both his personal, and on Team Frog.

Contacted Bill Armintrout on [TMP] which got Paul to post an update.

Sculptor Gene Van Horne had issues getting paid, and stepped in with Reaper's aid to offer backers a care package:

I just wanted to let everybody know I've received a good response about the care packages and things are moving along nicely. With any luck the care packages will be ready to go out to you all here soon.

I ALSO wanted to let everybody know that when the good folks, as in THE MOST SUPER AWESOME EVER, at Reaper got wind of what was going on, they wanted to help out too. That's just the way those crazy kids roll !! They have gone WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY here and made this a random act of kindness for me as well as all of you. They really stepped up and have donated time, materials, and manpower to get this thing, i.e. the care packages done. PLEASE give a BIG THANK YOU, Shout-Out, and send LOTS of Love and Support to all the GREAT People at Reaper!!!

Through it all, Paul continues to back other KS projects.

Those evil people at Reaper...killing the miniature community with kindness...

Wasn't a backer, so I can't read the backer only updates - but it looks like there is still communication...crappy though it may be. Doesn't bode well though if the sculptor was having issues getting paid - generally means that they don't have money for fulfillment and are trying to figure out some way to salvage the train wreck before it goes off the rails.

Fingers crossed that Reaper is also working their back channels with Team Frog to get the rest of it sorted out. I think they are still handling the contract casting for them...so they have a bit more leverage then some noisy posts in the comment stream and people like Ed and Ron are not the type to just sit around and watch it burn.

The only "communication" from the thief is whining that we are hurting his feelings by being so mean.

Just proves that companies like Reaper deserve our business and not thieves like Paul Lidberg. Nothing but disdain for Superfogeys from me.
