Seems like it would be really fun to play, but could lack a bit of power out put.
I've never used death wind missiles before so im not sure about how good they are, but that's 90 points for them.
I would scrap them and a squad (either tacs or stern) for maybe some storm talons for anti air, or if you only want pods, maybe an ironclad dreadnought or assault squad with flamers for anti infantry.

Great for objectives! But as mentioned, I'd try to mix it up a bit: depending on the point scale you're shooting for, an Ironclad buffed by Pedro +1A bubble is resilient and punchy, contemptor in Lucius pod, Honour guard squad with Standard of the Emperor Ascendant is a sick combo with Pedro's bubble and a great bodyguard, TFC adds some long range horde control and can still take pods.

For a competitive twist: Space Wolves allies, couple of Rune priests with Divination, and grav centurions in a pod, and one of their dual special-weapon troop choice in a pod.

Yeah, I wanted to try the deathwind launchers for once, considering I'm going all in on drop pods, my thinking was make my points work for me kinda thing, by giving them some purpose after they deliver their cargo - 6 str 5 pie plates is going to cause a handful of wounds a turn. I do love the idea of an ironclad, will probably work that in. I really want honour guard to work, they are an amazing CC unit, but without an invulnerable save and only T4, they need to be able to assault as soon as they arrive, giving the enemy even one turn to respond by shooting them down, charging them first, or just running away from them would all just be a disastrous waste of points. Therefore, in my opinion, the only way to always ensure profitability with them is to run them in a land raider or stormraven.

Unfortunately in order to put an ironclad in there I'd have to drop a sternquard squad, would hate to do that.

You do have trouble popping vehicles. I run all pod lists competitively and any smart general will make his vehicles really hard to pop. TFCs, honor guard, and Iron Clads are all good options, but they don't solve your long range vehicle popping dilemna. My suggestion is you drop the multi-meltas and combi-gravs for some plasma, take off the death wind launchers for another pod maybe take out a troops choice, and go with a devastator squad with lascannons and buy them a pod. You dont have to start them in the pod or you can depending on who you play, and they benefit from the Imperial Fists chapter tactics with tank hunter.

You don't think 15 combi-meltas are enough to pop some tanks?

Personally, I don't think you'd have problems against any vehicles on the ground between your combi-meltas and MMs.

Flyers might trump you pretty hard though. Tank hunting devs with Flakks can do pretty decently (and can still take a pod), your own flyer wouldn't hurt but will start taking points away from your pods, your best solution? Mortis Contemptor with dual TLLC and CML in a Lucius pod. Big investment but podded carefully (range-wise) on turn 1 and you have a resilient long range tank/flyer popping unit. For a "light" version of this you can go for a Mrk V Mortis Dreadnought with dual TLLC in Lucius pod.

Yeah, mortis dread would be good. My experience with a list like this is that unless they are spamming flyers, your alpha strike can cripple there primary force enough where there flyers cant pull them back in it. They'll take pot shots at your units for a few turns, kill some guys, but ultimately still lose.

Only thing I would change perhaps is to specialise each of the 4 Tac squads a little more. Currently the combo of MM/Flamer and Combi-Grav x 4 seems like it will take any target but only if the key weapon hits (except flamer of course). For instance you drop down behind a Leman Russ and miss with your MM. Your flamer and Combi-grav have little chance to do anything significant. Similarly if you fin yourself needing to take out a AM blob or Boyz mob. MM and grav will be a litte pointless.

Perhaps try something like the following combos:

MM/Meltagun and Combi-Melta x 2
HB/Flamer and Combi-Flamer
PC/Plasma and Combi-Plas

Granted you would have to find an extra 25pts (drop a Deathwind?) but would allow you to utterly dominate individual threats on your alpha strike. The drawback of course is that the secondary targets for each unit have to be the same as the first. I run pod Salamanders a bit and so often the MM would drop in and roll a 1 to hit exactly when i needed it to hit. Having the backup options made them so much better.

Yeah, seems reasonable.
