Basically as title suggests, is a Tyrannofex a good investment at this points level and if so, what would be the best way to kit it out? Considering dropping ten Termies and upgrading a AG Mawloc to it.

Do it! I use Tyrannofexes as often as possible, and have never, ever regretted it. The acid spray torrent template is incredibly useful, don't bother swapping it out for anything. Do you run walking MC lists or ...? What does the rest of the list look like? Run a venomthrope as well, in case of AP2 weaponry.

Nice! I run a predominately ground based list only FMC's are Flyrants. I think I currently have a Malanthrope in my army, if not that, it's going to be a Venomthrope

As you know, I'm a big fan of a Tyranofex, with Adrenals, and a Thorax Hive. The gland is optional, but I like the extra mobility, it boosts my "table presense". I also really like Mawloc, but dropping one for a Tyrano is not a mistake. It's just a change of style.

I like that list, but I would like it more with an ESG Tyrannofex
