Question says it all. The old matt ward dex says to just select a nearby unit. Seems cheese, and I felt unfair playing it that way, even if I was losing terribly due to my opponent getting a crapload of double and triple objectives on his side of the board. (Using my shuffled cards, no less)

Repair doesn't say the unit has to be unengaged so yes you can.

Also you don't share the tactical objective deck, you both have to use your own.

You can share it as a way of generating objectives - you see what you get, then shuffle the cards back in if the opponent hasnt already claimed that card.

Its easier to just roll on the table in the book if you don't have your own deck so you don't have to try and remember which cards have been drawn by which players. Plus you have to hold on to them so you either you do hold them and change the probability of drawing objectives or you have to write down and put it back in the deck in which case its easier to just roll on the BRB table and write it down.

If youre generating 6 in a go, we found it easier to just deal then write down. DOesnt happen much, I have generic cards plus race specifc now, so usually have one spare set!
