It's got a lot of initial shock value, but the more I look at that Imperial Fist the more I don't get it. How did he get torn in half like that? It physically just doesn't make any sense to me. Did he get picked up, crushed about the waist, put back down on his feet, and then get backhanded?

The rest of the model is very well done. Good weathering, posing, and conversion.

To me it looks like the dread grabbed the marine ans squeezed without picking up, then began tossing back and letting go simultaneously thus pulling off the severed torso leaving the legs. Quite graphic.

Sick model! Don't know if the autocannon is a conversion or if the Chaos version comes that way but it looks really cool. Great job!

I think if that Imperial Fist could still talk he'd disagree with you...

The idea was that the fist approached from the front of the dread as it was charging forward, dread grabs the marine with its thumb jammed into the fists gut with the rest of the claws grabbing the upper torso as indicated by the gouge marks. dread squeezes his thumb to separate the fist into more manage able portions whist pivoting at the waist and tossing him away.

If that doesn't make sense then is guess you could just call it warp physics.

The whole model is converted from the loyalist dread, there is no chaos contemptor model yet. The autocannon is from the defiler with the drum mags coming from the hellblade kit.
My P&M blog has lots of WIP shots if you are interested, link in my sig.
