About to order one mainly for the looks.

How do you guys feel about using it? What weapons? Is it worth it or just an expensive CC Dread?
I was thinking about a single Kheres Assault Cannon and Chainfist. Does it sound good?

Any opinions appreciared!

They're a big point investment on a relatively fragile frame, their Mortis variant will sometimes make it in competitive builds for AA support.
In your situation I'd invest in a Lucius pod which will actually really help you on 2 aspects: mobility and survival. The pod will get your Contemptor where you need it ASAP and per the latest rules (IA2, 2nd edition), it does not have to disembark on the turn it arrives, yet can still shoot normally per the latest 7th edition deep strike rules.

To explain:
-pod lands and opens doors, it gains Shrouded on that turns per its rules
-you can disembark the dread and if you place it on any part of the pod it will also get Shrouded, it can shoot normally but may not assault, next turn it can move/shoot/assault as normal
-OR you can keep the dread embarked (unlike a standard pod, it is NOT required to disembark), it can still shoot at full BS (per new 7th ed deep strike rules), thanks to the pod being open-topped, and next turn it can disembark/shoot/assault since the pod is an assault vehicle

Overall a big chunk of change, but it's sure to make your enemy sweat if podded against the right target.

Also if it is touching any part of the pod you get shrouded, so if you disembark it behind the pod for cover and then add shrouded, you can effectively have a 3+ cover save.
