Wolf Lord - Armour of Russ, Fangsword of the Ice Wolf (165)
Rune Preist - ML2, Rune Sword, Runic Armour (110)

Grey Hunters(10) Squad 1 - Meltagun, Wolf Standard, WGPL; Powersword / Drop Pod (235)
Grey Hunters(10) Squad 2 - Meltagun, WGPL; Powersword / Rhino (210)
Grey Hunters(10) Squad 3 - Meltagun, WGPL; Powersword / Rhino (210)
Grey Hunters(10) Squad 4 - Flamer, WGPL; Powersword / Rhino (205)

Murderfang / Drop Pod (170)
Wolf Guard(5) - 3 Powerswords, Thunder Hammer, WGPL; Frostsword / Drop Pod (220)

Thunderwolf Calvary(3) - 3 Wolf Claws/Storm Shields (225)

So my plan is too have my Wolf Lord and Rune Priest join the WG in the Drop Pod and try to come in Turn 2. I have never used Murderfang before, so I'm thinking about dropping him where either my Calvary would end up and give my opponent a hard spot. The 3 Squads in the Rhinos would try to go for objectives or units in a combine force. The Grey Hunters in the Drop Pod would back up either the TWC or Murderfang.

I AM UP FOR SUGGESTIONS

I've played a few games and i love the Stomwolf, and if you weren't going to come in till turn 2 any way, you could drop one of your grey hunter squads in a rhino, swap one of the other rhino's for a drop pod and put wolf guard in the flyer. I believe that the stormwolf is 235 with the 2 TL multi-meltas so you would actually gain more anti tank with it, and gain a anti flyer as well.

On a side note if you are using the FoC from the space wolves codex, at the start of your 2nd turn you get to pick a unit in reserves that auto arrives so with your current list there would be no try to come in turn 2 unless you had other units in reserve that you feel are more important.

Rune Priests are not really worth it I hear. Haven't used them and they don't really tempt me either. And about the PAWG... that's 5 Power armored guys for 185 points that just sit and wait for a turn before doing anything. If you drop them with Murderfang they might have a chance of surviving, but I doubt it.

Also I think your TWC have too many toys and too few boys. One power weapon (fist preferably) per 3 TWC is quite enough I think, even with SS they are too fragile to survive for long, even with all the distractions.

GH are a little worse than they were but I'd say they could still work. I just don't understand why you wouldn't take double specials for them?
