I thought it would be cool if there was a deployment map where one player had a small space in the center of the board to deploy in and the other army deployed in the space around the first players deployment zone. Since the first player has no table edge, they would not be able to seep strike or take reserves, but then you could write a table or something for a heroic last stand where everyone gets a special rule or something. Has this been done before?

I went to Hershey Park in central PA this year, and I have to say I was more than a little disappointed. I fully expected the entire theme park to be make entirely of chocolate, but no. Here in America, we have "building codes," and some other nonsense about chocolate melting if don't store it someplace kept below room temperature.

You should have a look at the third edition rulebook. It has some brilliant scenarios of just the type.

Mainly the thing would be for the first player to last x number of turns without allowing opponents into a given area.
