One wonders what made the tau wars of the Mon'tau – The Time of Terror, so terrible and devastating? Just what darkness resides in the tau psyche, that they needed the Tau'va – The Greater Good or the Ethereal cast in the first place? And if there were a group of tau living without the guidance and leadership of the Ethereals; then just how would they deal with that dark side? How would they survive? How would they deal with the monsters that lurk in the nooks and crannies of the tau soul?

Apparently there are such tau and they live in the Farsight Enclaves. It is said if these tau that they not only survive but thrive! However it still begs the question: How do they deal with the darkness within? The following short examines these very questions.
