So I'm in the process of making a 40k Raven Guard Space Marine army. I was going with Shrike as my warlord at first, but after looking at the reviews, I changed to a Chapter Master with a jump pack, lightning claws, artificer armour and melts bombs. After putting my army together, I noticed that I had 70 spare points, which I could spend on a 5 man scout squad with snipers and camo cloaks or on giving a tactical or assault sergeant a power weapon as well as giving my chapter master the ridiculously large and awesome burning blade, which was wielded by the emperor himself. I'm just wondering which is the better choice. My army consists of the chapter master, 3 10 man tactical squads with a melta gun and a combi melta in rhinos, 2 10 man assault squads with 2 flamers, a power weapon in one squad and melta bombs in both, 5 hammernators, an ironclad dreadnought with hurricane bolter, seismic hammer, heavy flamer, ironclad assault launcher and hunter killer missiles, a predator with twin Lascannon and Lascannon sponsons and a Stormraven with TL melta melta, hurricane bolters and a twin Lascannon. With 3 full Tactical Squads in Rhinos (so up to 9 OS units), I think you're sorted for troops, so I'd take upgrades. The Burning Blade is awesome. However, I'd then swap out the claw for a Storm Shield, as you want to keep his Captain alive and I can't see a situation where you'd want the claw over the blade.
