I'm trying to build a Kill Team, and i wondered about using LotD...

Sergeant Storm Bolter + Animus Malorum
Brother 1 Heavy Bolter + Split Fire
Brother 2 Rage
Brother 3 Feel no Pain
Brother 4
Brother 5

Probably not enough men, cause a 3+ save is still failable...

Do they still have to start in reserves?

No, Kill Team rules forbid it.

I like it.

Most Kill teams are Elites so they wont have many bodies either.
LotD is supposed to be elite and limited.
Also mobile heavy weapons? Yes please!

And if people played in my area I would LotD it up.

Where is your special weapon? And why a Storm Bolter?

they are 25 pts each, so i had 5 spare for the storm bolter and none for a special weapon. I could drop a man and take a special, but not sure if that is worth it. or i could drop the relic, take another man and a special.

The relic gives FnP on failed moral I think.
I would drop it to get more bodies and better weapons.

Also unless you are facing Horde I would get higher AP weapons.

it gives 5+ FNP, improves with failed moral, fear and pinning (also removes the model that failed from play)
