Subject: Reliable Firepower

Dark Angels Librarian with Book of Secrets
|
I'm filling out a list for a 3 v 3 tomorrow and I have about 200 points left. I'm looking for some pretty reliable firepower and I'm trying to decide between a Ven Dreadnought with a Drop Pod, Assault Cannon and a Heavy Flamer or a Nephilim Jetfighter with Avenger Mega Bolter. What are you guys thoughts on what will kill the most?

Well, the Nephilim is one of the worst units in the game, so my advice is to take anything that isn't a Nephilim.

Im assuming your playing Dark Angels?
If so you should either take:
A: 2 stock dreads with no upgrades
B: aegis with quad and another scout squad
c: another tac squad in a drop pod with melta
D: more Black Knights

Yep, most people don't notice, but there's a tiny text box under the Nephilim entry that states:
"Sorry for that, we were just testing a new flyer concept. We'll understand if you never ever buy this model *big sad eyes*. Yours sincerely, GW".

Right on. I'm also taking a6 man bike squad w/ an attack bike w/ multi melta, and a LRC with Banner of Devastation in it. Based on that, do you think the tac squad in drop pod would be the best bet? Yes, but it's called Nephilim....NEPHILIM.... 
Really though, take a couple of Vanilla Dreads if you have the minis. Solid and reliable gun platforms if ever there were..
