Not really meant to be competitive, since it is 30K and who cares. That being said, is this doable? I went for twin IWND Knights, because... why not? A twin pair of Castellax with all Flamers for the Overwatch and the ETA to shred up Marines (which is the core of 30k, right?). The AMagos hops along with the Thallax and offers some sort of combat ability (kinda). Really not sure how I like its set-up really. I am torn between having it hop with the Thallax or babysit the Castellax. Oh yea, and a Thanatar because they are gorgeous models and I needed a compulsory heavy slot. Zero air defense because... just because. I suppose I could toss in aircraft, like an Avenger, but that would cut into my room for robots.

Thoughts? Ideas? Any pointers/tips on the AMagos and how to maybe fit him better into the idea of the army?

Does the Archmandrite speciality give you a cortex controller? If not, you're entirely relying on Cybernetic Cortex programming...

Right. It isn't that big of a drawback, really. Just got to maneuver correctly.

Looks okay.

You've got ridiculous marine-killing power between the Paladin, the Castellax and the Thanatar.

Heavy Tanks are more of an issue, although a Knight Errant goes a long way to dealing with that.

The one big weakness I can see is flyers - either some Hyperios sentry guns or Icarian upgrades for the Thallax might be a good idea.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaa... I know. :( I had been tempted to shoehorn in an Avenger or something. But Hyperios is a damned fine idea if I can find the points. Could scrap the Thanatar for them, but that model is just so damn cool. Dilemmas...

I may just bump to 3000pts and just start playing against all my locals interested in 30k at once.
