So, now that Dakka is magically not blocked at my work again (I think my last post before this week was in like March), I can share some of the things I've done recently!

This guy I got done for a friend who recently got into the hobby and is a fan of a lot of the books. He asked me what chapter to play, and I asked him "Well I mean you really like the Ultramarine books so I say screw all the haters. Having a really well painted Ultramarines list really seems to offend a-holes, and if you like them and like the look then you get to have that much more fun!"

And yeah I know I still need to set up a photo station, but hey the photo quality is still tons better than what I was capable of doing previously.

Lastly, one thing you can't really get from the photos is the sheen on the hammer. I wanted it to look like Marble so there's a thin gloss coat on it. Looks really great in person, but I don't have the talent with photos to make that feature really come through.

Questions and comments appreciated!

Inside I did Bone colors and used Evil Suns Scarlet for the freehand trim, and the green is GW's ork colors believe it or not. Waaagh Flesh, washed black, then edge highlights of Warboss and Skarsnik green. Freehand trim at the bottom of that is just pure white.
