BACKGROUND:
With the ultimate destruction of Orks in competitive play in the current meta, I issued a challenge to Dakka-ites in the Tactics Forum. It is as follows:

Build a tourney-legal, pure ork list at 1850pts. Play it in a competitive meta. Win 2/3 times and show me the proof. I'll give you one of my Stompas... painted / magnetized. I didn't get many responses. I did get one intriguing one from my buddy, NightHowler, in Texas. His list idea needed some tweaking to make it legal. Here it is:

I'm confused did those coptas scout and then assault on turn one?

You can't make a scout move and assault with the same unit on the first turn.

Yeah unfortunately Orks haven't been able to assault turn one with a Buzzsaw Deffkopta since 5th edition. The main thing the Nauts lack is Super Heavy status. They are essentially higher Hull Point Dreadnoughts that can be one shotted by a lucky Melta Gun. I really suggest you trying out the list I wrote down before completely giving up on Orks. You don't even have to video record it just try it out off camera. I swear by the success that I have had with it.

I'd rather have a stompa than 3 naughts.

Warlocks cant join dire avengers. Says right in the book. Yet consistently people continue to do it.

Got Infiltrate on 4 units and scout moved the wagons before the game even started. Often jammed my opponent's up in their own deployment zone.

First game was Killpoints primary mission against a Flying
Circus. Still managed to drag down three of them FMC, despite having no dedicated anti-air.

The second player was a friend from Dothan, who plays Space Marines, and the third was another player up from Tallahassee with a nasty combination of Necrons and Chaos Daemons; both of which quit after huge and unrecoverable losses of their forces. Massed and fast choppas and powerclaws are no joke. Tankbustas are also awesome!

I love the BW formation !

It really puts some starch in da old boyz! Turn 2 is our turn! Most armies are toast when that many boyz hit their lines. I've ripped down Waveserpents, Knight Titans and the occasional Riptide with sheer mass of attacks and well placed Powerclaws.

Tankbustas are mandatory for dealing with vehicles. Tank hunters + meltabombs = ded vehicles! Explosions usually take out half the squad, however.

The Two Warlord traits + CAD rerolls on the charts all but guarantee 4 units get to infiltrate. Mass boyz squads that are 11 to 6 inches from your lines first turn are mighty scary too.

Madness! Great band.

Anyway, I took a similar list to the LVO 2014 (wagon spam w 5 BWs). I won 1 game. Out of 6. Play your list against an Eldar player that brings WaveSerpents + Wraithknights, or a Jetseer list, or 5 imperial knights, or screamer-star with summoning spam, Draigo The list goes on.

Thanks for the submission though. Keep trying! Maybe we can get one. (Jarvis help us).
