Overall ideas: mini deathstar in LRC (ObSec) including the crusader squad, CM, and Uriah (counter-attack, zealot + reroll to wound or all saves), supported by 2 sister squads with TLMM immolators and flamer/HF combo. Long range fire from TFC and devs. AA from both flyers. Late game objective grab from LSS and scouts. And Psyker null bubble from Culexus.

Thoughts?

Edited to swap the canoness/priest combo for Jacobus, added an extra body in each BSS and added MBs to scout srgt.

I like to saturate my opponents with av 14 in the case of lrc's. We're not dark angels so there is no way to give them a 4++ so instead of just one filled with a deathstar I take 3 filled with boots. The only upgrades I give the squad are combi meltas(for the sword brother) and melta bombs on chaplains. I love the idea of the preist to re roll saves though. Then storm talons or Morris pattern contemptor dreadnoughts for aa/ monstrous creature hunting.

I don't know how I feel about your backfield, the thunder fire and lascannon dev squad are going to be easy targets for the odd deepstrike unit.

I agree about AV14 saturation but I like the combo with the priest, which means including the Sisters as allies and I can't do both sadly (while keeping a balanced list).

I have the Mortis Dread and I go back and forth between that and the Stormtalon. Depending on the enemy I find the dread better (starts on the board, has interceptor...) but it also tends to get popped easily. With straffing run both flyers are actually quite potent against ground targets while still doing good work against other flying enemies.

Great point about the backfield. If there are enemy deep-strikers to worry about, I may have to hang back with the other units until I know where they drop.

Maybe take Jacobus instead of the Canoness/Priest combo. The Canoness is really just dead weight. Also, the vet upgrade on the BSS is pretty irrelevant. Any reason for the devastators? LC devs are pretty underwhelming.

Good point about Jacobus, he buffs the unit even more with counter-attack and his Ld9 should be okay for the War Hymns. I like the priest with the Litanies as he auto-passes War-Hymns but Jacobus saves me 50 pts.

I'll revise the list.

As far as the vet upgrades, considering that there aren't that many bodies in this list I'd rather have them NOT run off the board.

The 4 LCs devs have always done well for me, camp them in a reinforced ruin and take out armor/high-T units; as you brought up, people tend to ignore/overlook them. In a bind they can also try to shoot at flying units; decent chance of getting a 6 out of 4 shots and it should wound/pen easily.
