Looks good! Always cool to see the Sons, and I like the muted pallette. Are you going with a loyalist group or those that sided with Horus (or just pre-Heresy)?

I'm thinking it's going to be a post Istvaan force, so with Horus, but not really chaotic yet

Thanks! The colours are really easy, the green is just Dawnstone with a drybrushed highlight of Administratum grey, then washed with Coelia Greenshade, and the brass is just runelord brass washed with agrax earthshade

Eurgh feet... Can you take pics on the table next time?

Oh and for first minis they're great, you've got the hardest thing sorted... Neatness, the rest is simply practice... oh and thin your paints. Not a criticism at yours but it's worthwhile advice

Haha sorry! I was just painting at the sofa I didn't even realise til the photos were up.

I did thin my paimts but it's just getting the right balance I guess. I did go too thin to start with so maybe I over compensated.
