I'm planning a a Snakebite War Bike Mob, using boars. There will be a Warboss, A Weirdboy/Shaman, 5 Nobs and 10 boyz. I'm also building some War Boar chariots to be used as buggies.

My Snakebite Warboss mounted on a Cyboar. It still needs some detail bits, and a grot holding a stickbomb.

The boar was made using the front half of a plastic Fantasy Orc Warboss boar, and the back half from a Savage Boyz boar. The front and back sections were also cut in half, down the middle, and a sheet of 3mm styrene inserted. The front and back were joined together using epoxy putty. This created a boar that was both longer, and 3mm wider. The back shows the Engine and gubins, including a fuel can. I'm awaiting an order from Ebay to finish the detailing.


The mini will have a few variant weapons to chose from. The axe and hand is from a Black Orc.The gun can count as a twin shoota or a twin Dakka. The pin at the wrists are the same size as the pins on the plastic mega nobs. And there will be a Kombi weapon, sword, and a power fist available.
I plan to do this with all my Warboss minis, of which there will be 6, one from each major clan. The Snakebite Warboss will also have a set of standing legs that it can use.

Waste not, want not. After making the cyboar, the left over sections were joined to make another boar.

This will become a mount for a Snakebite Nob. I'll add a bit more fur to the back using epoxy putty.


I had an old plastic boar that came with a nice metal head. I swapped it onto one of my savage boars for another Nob ride. And mounted the savage head on a small plastic body. epoxy putty makes many things possible.

Have you seen the old GW cyboars? The first variant had a metal wheel for back legs; the newer one was larger, half plastic and if I remember fewer mechanical bits. There's also the really old RT era super cyboar.

First a slight update for my Warboss on Super Cyboar. Here he is primed.


The deathskull icon is a trophey. And he has a nice genral purpose squig.
The Warboss is a mix of parts. Thew weapon hands are pined at the wrist, and can be swapped for other weapons. He's cut and pinned at the waist, here he's on his standing legs. the ridding legs are permanently attached to his boar.


Next is my Cybaor Warbikes.

Each started with a pair of motors, and a pair of gear wheels. I remove the hind legs and add a steam engine onto the frame. The "medium gear" is a star washer with a small plastic gear added.


I purchased 10 of these off Ebay. They are the starting point for my Cyboar conversions. They look like 28mm scale starter motors for a large engine.

The Cyboars finished and primed.

These are my Snakebite hogs. These will count as warbikes for my army. Other then the basic old style plastic Boar, everything is scratch built Two of the Dakkagun pairs are converted shoots, the rest are from scratch. The cyboars each have a pair of handle bars. All of the boars, including the super cyboar has a hypodermic stuck into it's head. These will have the tops painted red, and serve as the turbo boost button.





The Boars had their heads repositioned from the norm. I chopped the top of the neck opening off the bodies, this allowed the head to tilt up and forward. I also pitched the heads on some to the side a bit. The last boar has a head transplant form a new plastic body. The gaps were filled with epoxy putty.

Would it be wrong to gave a boar a red paint job?
