Hi all,

still pretty newbielike with my Grey Knights, assembling and starting to paint the models. However... I can't find a Librarian model anywhere :( Only Draigo, Stern, Crowe and a brother captain. But there must be a model somewhere, one is depicted in the codex!?

There is no Grey Knight-specific Librarian model. The model in the codex is the standard Space Marine Librarian painted silver.

Alternatively, you can just make one out of the regular Grey Knight kits.

The GK termie kit works perfectly for any GK HQ. He may not look fancy, but it gets the job done. Slap on the weapons you want, stick some books and purity seals and bam. Done. That's the simple way.

Though if you want you could kitbash from several kits, as long as it works really.

The SM Termie Libby model has the advantage of having the psychic hood bit to the armour (the curved section at the back) which, if you put a GK helm (GK use a different mark of helm, and its an easy way to tie the model into the army) on looks very good

As above, stick on books, seals etc if you want it to look "fancy", there is even a warding stave in the GK termies box you can put on it. Paint one shoulder pad libby blue, and he will look the part!

I converted mine from the Brother Captain Stern model. Finecast makes converting very easy. A few bits off of ebay and I am pretty pleased with the results. I originally used the standard GW Librarian model but when done it just didn't look Grey Knights enough to make me happy.
