I agree. I think you'd have done better scratchbuilding up a Swooping Hawk style jump pack. Also I can't get my head around the not-Swooping Hawk paintscheme. Too much of the classic colour schemes to unlearn for me I think.

Don't get me wrong it's nicely painted - lovely contrast and so on, but... no. Just doesn't 'do it' for me. Sorry.

Pretty brilliant overall, I would say. Paint job is great and the wings look good too.

I like it alot!
The one thing i dont like is the fact that the botton part of the wings, the sword and the shield is identical in colour and material.
Its a usual flaw in heavily paint brushed models, to use one glowing technique for every material on the model.
The fire of the wings look slightly like the wings are melting metal like that.

Also, I suppose the hawk phoenix lord has a sword, but when I think swoopies i think blasters, and with the wraith lord, Im surprised you chose the sword instead of gun.

The paint job is only rivaled by the amazing conversion.

Very nice! Has a good angelic feel to it.

I like the idea and I like the paint and I do like how it ended up looking like I'd be proud to own that.

Only thing that I dislike is that you used (at least I think you used) wings from the frostfire phoenix from high elves I think. It just doesn't quite suite eldar. The bottom portion of the melting wings doesn't match the swooping hawk wings.

I would still do this conversion myself and its a nice idea I like it and I'm sure the owner is happy with it as well! Good job!

My only criticism would be the legs.. They look a lot like it's just standing there (and one ankle is kind of awkwardly twisted).

I personally feel like the people who take issue with the wings and the dynamic there of would take to it better if the legs fit what (I envision) is happening more, but that's just my opinion.
