Hey guys, I've been working on these models over the past few days and I think they're pretty much finished up. I might go back and tidy some bits up though. Also I have to base the Dreadnought still so hopefully you'll forgive me for that one ( on second thought, I'll just post this in Painting & Modelling instead of Showcases. )





( I assure you that the brown splotches on their pants were intentional, it's supposed to be mud - it's also on the boots but their boots are brown so you can't see it too well lol )





I'm a little bit of a sloppy painter and lack some of the crisp and smooth precision that most of you have, but honestly I'm pretty happy with these and think they pass as decent tabletop quality models. Also sorry about the meh quality of the pictures - my camera is a bit old and I need to learn to set up better light boxes.

Aye, cool helmets! I have quite a few alternative helmets lying around which I wanted to try on scouts but so far the IG Scions have come the closest. These look awesome, where are they from?

Very nice work. The only thing That I might suggest would be to vary the browns on the backpacks. Right now they are just the same shade. You could do the bedrolls/camo cloaks/rolled fabric or straps in a lighter brown. Just something to break up the uniform field.

It’s nice to see some Ultras getting down and dirty. I know I keep mine parade ground clean.

Thanks guys! The heads and backpacks are from Pig Iron, I believe they are Kolony Militia or something along those lines.

And yeah I probably could have thrown in another color on their packs somewhere to break up the monotony, but I wasn't sure what to do.
