I may be in the minority, but I continued to use the classic grey/gold theme simply because the subscribed button was always at the top in the dark grey bar. Now someone changed it to be listed under the drop down "Thread Tools" 99.9% of the time, I scroll to the end of a thread and just want to click the subscribed button to get back to my list. This is also annoying when reading Dakka on android tablet w/any browser because clicking dropdown menus is hit or miss and mostly just frustrating. Can this please be changed back? thank you

"Subscribe" remains a link in the bottom-left corner of the page (right above the "Email me when this thread changes" link).

I understand, but I'm not talking about the button to subscribe to a thread, I'm talking about the link that displays the threads that you are subscribed to. Now it is under the "Thread Tools" link rather than its own link.

'My subscribed threads' on mobile is going to get put in a 'swipe to the right' slide-in menu this weekend which will let mobile users get to it without the annoyance of dealing with small links in a pop up. This should be the best of both worlds. The old variation between themes was a big pain to deal with in the code so had to be phased out and I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Ahh, now I understand. (I also agree completely, for precisely the same reasons - my tablet was similarly set to the classic scheme.)

On a touchscreen device, you can now swipe left to right on the dakka logo anywhere on the forums section of the site, and a much easier to navigate menu will slide in from the left granting access to my subscribed threads, etc.

A bunch of other fixes are now in place as well (switch theme works on all devices, a few graphical fixes, etc)

The iphone/iOS header fixes are still pending me getting access to an iphone for a prolonged period of time.

That's fantastic for mobile,Thank you, but "subscribed" used to be right there on the bar above as it's own link. so I'd finish reading a new post, reply, etc. then scroll up and click the "subscribed" button to quickly get back to my subscribed list.

If that can't be done, can a "my subscribed threads" link be put at the bottom of the page somewhere?

I'm intending on some extra tweaks to the footer for mobile stuff moving forwards, so I'll bear that in mind.

Even on a pc, it was always convenient

Yes, please!

Absolutely!

It was the only reason to keep using the 'classic' theme...

Also, please get extended access to an iPhone soon!

Yeah, I mean if you could just please put "subscribed" back into the second bar with "Forum tools" that would rock. Not under Thread tools drop-down (its already there) but its own link. This is how I've used Dakka for years and years.

Maybe have a grognard theme for the people unwilling to face change? I'd love it.

Just as a followup, I find myself clicking Articles / Videos / Podcast a lot more on my iPhone now. It pretty much requires me to click twice to get to Thread Tools.

My fingers must be getting fat.

On mobile, if you swipe from left to right on the logo at the top of the screen, you get a slide-in menu. Lego's sneaky.
