Warhammer 40k Bolt pistol quickly thought this up and decided to have a go at it.

laser cut obviously

its not a massive replica but about the right size that a pistol would be

BTW, I don't have access to a laser cutter, but I'd like a peak at the cut files. Pretty sure they would help me make on out of Foam Core, since you've already done the scaling.

Here they are so you can see the sizing, as i say its a realistic size not like the models which are oversized

Maybe add some rivets or screw some or screws bolts onto it? Probably 6-8 per side will be fine and add quite a bit of realism.

I've built a lot of paper models, and what you have there is just layers of board stacked and glued. Making it in foam core would involve cutting it out by hand, and allowing for the difference or the thickness of materials. I'd probably have to putty and sand it to get it smooth, and use PVC pipe for the gun barrel, but I could do it.
