I just come across a case where I use Telepathy with my ML3 Grey Knights Librarian. I automatically get Psychic Shriek because of the specialization in 1 disciple. However, when I rolled the Warlord Trait, he got a 5, which allows another Psychic Power for free from Santic Daemonology. So the question is, do I still get Psychic Shriek plus 3 Telepathy Powers if I accept the Warlord Trait?

Also, what do you roll for first, Warlord Trait or Psychic Power?

To answer your first question, maybe?

For the second, you and your opponent roll off and the winner decides the order.

If during the course of the game, that Psyker gains a psychic power from a different psychic discipline, he immediately loses Psychic Focus (and the associated primaris power).

You would lose Psychic Shriek since you have gained a power that is outside your Discipline. You can debate whether the warlord trait occurs "during" or "before" (see other thread.) with your opponent if you so choose.

We have an official 'start point' for the game, so it would be easy to verify if something is occurring before or after that point.
