Hey, finally got time to write up my first battle report. No pictures unfortunately, which is probably a good thing, considering my army is half built.

My powers - Invisibility, hallucination, hammer-hand, vortex
Big line of site terrain in the centre on a 4x4 board. My paladins are hiding behind a piece of terrain in the centre and my dreadknight is behind a bunker in the far corner, everything is hidden. Space wolves take a line formation, squads spread out with the Fangs on top of a bunker.
Space wolf first turn and I don't try to seize
Wolf Turn 1
Everything moves up, no shooting.
Knight Turn 1
I get invisibility off and gate, landing right behind the enemy lines. Take out a few hunters from my Paladin squad,
DK shoots at the rhino, but it passes both it cover saves.
Wolf turn 2
1 lone wolf comes in next to my
DK, shooting takes off a wound from him, wolf guard disembark from the rhino, hunters+wolves charge my Paladin squad and everything dies.
Knight turn 2
I dont get invisibility after rolling 5 dice, but I cast hallucination on the wolf guard (totally forgot about vortex). Storm raven comes in and takes out 1 long fang,
DK blast the rhino, with the wolf guard right next to it, the shot scatters but I take off 1
hp. Paladin squad is just out of charge range to the wolf guard.
Wolf turn 3
The last lone wolf comes in next to my
DK, another lascannon shot takes a wound off it. Flakk missiles immobilise the raven but I get a 3+

. Wolf guard try to charge my non-invisibility paladin squad, I kill 2 in over watch and they fall the charge. Rhino immobilizes itself. A seriously lucky turn for me.
Knight turn 3
I jump my knight right next to the wolf guard unit , I get off invisibility and hammerhand. I snap shoot at the long fangs with my raven, killing 1 and force a moral check, which they fail

. I fire everything into the wolf guard, knocking them down to 2 models but now my paladins are about 9 inches away and they fail the charge.
Wolf turn 4
Tactical squads fire at my
DK taking another wound off it, wolf guard move away from my paladin squad.
Knight turn 4
I get off my psychic powers, take out the rhino with my raven's assault cannon then proceed to kill a lone wolf with it's
TL heavy bolters

. My dreadknight charges into the long fangs, slays them down to a man and my paladains fail a 12 inch charge to the wolf guard.
Wolf turn 5
Epic charge from his wolf guard +
hq and lone wolf into my paladin squad ( forget about invisibility ). His Grey hunters charge into my
DK. I kill his wolf guard squad +
hq, but his lone wolf stands firm and knocks out a paladin. My
DK wipes out his long fang, but I fail my one and only armour save I get from the squad. We call it there due to time.
Knights - First blood, slay the warlord, line breaker + 6

What I learnt - Draigo with invisibility + a paladin squad kicks ass and is impossible to kill,
FNP would of just made the game ridiculous. Ignoring it is the only option.
Loading a squad into a raven is super risky, I should of just hid the squad somewhere out of sight.
