Hello guys, Me and a mate are a bit befuddled on how wound allocation works in cc, so question is, as per shooting you allocate the closest model If all are the same distance, so does that mean all remaining wounds spread out from that model or do you then allocate to another model of your choice again?

This is very clear on page 52 of the book. Third full paragraph down, after the two bullet point paragraphs:

In either case, once a model has a Wound allocated to it during an Initiative step, you must continue to allocate Wounds to it until it is either removed as a casualty or the Wound pool is empty.

Alternatively, if you are unsure of how to allocate Wounds when many models are in base contact, or are otherwise equidistant, the first bullet point paragraph is also very clear on this:

If there is more than one eligible candidate, the player controlling the models being attacked chooses which model it is allocated to.

As per the closest model like shooting, so does that mean you choose the closest model and all wounds must be allocated around that model or can you choose another model, say on the. Other side of the combat, or do they all have to be allocated to the original model and spread from there.

My apologies but its not "Very clear" to us.
Thanks for the reply though

You must allocate to the closest model. If more than one model is equidistant (for example 3 models in base to base contact), the owning player chooses which of his models is closest.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

It is always going to be the closest model to the attacking model(s). When a model is removed, you must determine which of the remaining models is closer to the attacker(s). If there are multiple at the same distance, pick one.
