Hi Dakka.


Anyone got any info on the Charnel Guard that i can't find on Lexicanum or 40k Wiki?, they just seem very mysterious and interesting to me and i was wondering if any of you could help me find out more about them.

Are you Referring to the Maynarkh Charnel Lychguard, or something else?

I'm assuming he means the Marine Chapter by that name, in which case there might be some good info here;

If you are referring to the SM chapter there is very little, although in Imperial Armour Volume Two – Second Edition: War Machines of the Adeptus Astartes there is a fellblade used by them: here is a text passage about it

"This little known fleet-based chapter, whose chronicle threads through many dark passages of the Imperium's history is believed by some to date from the Third Founding. Evidence for this can be seen in the number of ancient war relics it is know to possess, such as this dread engine (Mori Drakka Fellblade) and at least two other super-heavy tanks of similar provenance."

So fleet-based, third founding, dark history and super-heavy tanks, sound good to me!

Yep, i like the fact they are considerably dark, most of their campaigns seem to be genocide missions, their emblem oozes grim darkness too.
