So I'm making an 80's hair metal themed Vampire Counts army (I'll have a p&m blog up on here soon enough) and it occurred to me that the one gesture surely more metal than any other is one that I simply can't think of a way to do. You all know what I mean, right? The rock n' roll devil horns symbol with pinky and index finger aloft? \m/
Anyways I've gone over it in my head a good bit. Cutting off fingers and reattaching them seems overly fiddly and inaccurate, and I dislike greenstuff minutia as it is, so trying to get the detail of a skeleton's hand in that form is beyond me.
Anybody else have any other ideas? Or have any of you guys seen any models with this hand pose that I can simply chop a hand off of? I know that not many people have really tried for this sort of thing since... Well, since
GW used to name their
IG figures after rock band members (Troopers Emmerson, Lake, and Palmer reporting!). I'm just hoping there's some oddball out there like me who has already tried this.
If you're wondering why, a better question would be why not. My answer is, "Rule of Cool, bro."
