Hey guys, I was thinking of a tournament list and with some of my Ork models still in the "to do" bin, I thought I'd put together a Orks/allyCSM list to play around with, so I'd love some feedback on it

    Warboss (Claw, Bike, Da Finkin Kap)
    Painboy (Bike)
    Elites
    Meganobz (Boss Meganob, 2x Kombi-Skorcha Meganobz) Trukk (Reinforced Ram)
    Troops
    Ork Boyz (29 Slugga Boyz, Nob [Claw, Pole, Shoota] )
    Ork Boyz (29 Slugga Boyz, Nob [Claw, Pole, Shoota] )
    Fast Attack:
    Dakkajet (Extra Supa Shoota, Flyboss)
    Warbikes (4 Warbikes, Nob [Claw, Pole]
    Heavy Support:
    Lootas (10 Lootas)
    Mek Gunz ( 4 Lobbas, 3 Ammo Runts)

    CSM Allies
    HQ:
    Chaos Lord
    Chaos Cultists (20 Cultists)
    Helldrake (Baleflamer)
    Obliterators ( 3 Obliterators Mark of Nurgle)

  • The idea of the allies is to keep the cultists with the lord on objective holding duty, the oblits to help vs armor, the helldrake to do his things, while the main ork force moves forward and crump fings (especially if I get infiltrate on the warboss from strategic)
    Note: my endgame Ork list swaps the CSM allies for 9 more bikes, another MANz missile, 10 more Lootas and an ADL with a quad

    A few questions regarding the below guys:

    I really like this plan. It gives you a lot more bikers to have an effective, threatening DeffStar, and the 2 Manz Missiles will create alot of planic too.

    I'd like to play around with CSM personally, but I'd need to ask what you have on both Orks and CSM:
    -- Do you have any Battlewagons? How many trukks do you have? Do you have any deffkoptas?

    The MANz do ride in trukkz with only reinforced rams, ill add that later
    The cultists are just grot substitute to make the allies legal, and i planned to put the lord with them fearless
    I have up to 4 trukkz and no battlewagons atm and i have no deffkoptas.
    My plan is to slowly build up my ork force and relly till then on my friends chaos models
    The oblits arebthere as antiarmor and midground support
    The idea for the sorcerer instead of the lord seems cool, ill update in my next reply

    If the chaos sorc perils of the warp to death, does he give up slay the warlord points?

    you do know that there is a subforum for rules and stuff right ?

    Anyways Sorcerer seems a bit worse then the lord imo, since he cant use divination to buff the oblits and doesnt have fearless. The Nurgle Bikers idea seems awesome, but I think a Helldrake might do more work since the ground is quite clogged with boyz and other orky stuff
