In a few weeks, I'm going to a 1250 Team Tournament up in Warner-Robins, Georgia. 10 Teams, 1250 points a player.

I'm running a list with Typhus, 90 Zombies (3 units of 30), 2 Heldrakes and 290 left over points.
My partner is running Necrons with Imohetek, a D Lord (Scythe, Scarabs), Cryptek, 6 Wraiths, 2 Warrior Squads in Nightscythes, about 100 points leftover.

(Yes, Imohetek's storm can harm my army, it's worth it to have 90 zombies getting cover saves all over the place).

During a test game last night, we were able to deal with 1 Knight pretty easily, but alas, the Space Wolf/Red Scorpion team had 2 Knights (my pair of Vindicators were disgustingly ineffective).

We were thinking of taking a pair of Maulerfiends with the Lasher Tendrils to bring Knights down to just the one attack, which might miss or be saved by the Mauuler's invul.

We know other teams will show up with Knights, so we have to be able to handle them. Is the D. Lord and Wraith squad, backed by the Gauss Warriors going to be enough? What exists in the Chaos arsenal that can take down a Knight easily?

Suggestions are welcome.

Necrons can jack up knights with crypteks of the storm. Assault 4 haywire. Put one in a night scythe with some warriors. Now do that twice and have them fly up to the knight, hop out on either side of it and both unload at the same time. Only one side will get the shield, and you are bound to strip quite a few hull points.

As above, necrons are by far the best haywire per point army in the game. Stick a few haywireteks in there and you shouldn't have too many problems.

4 haywire shots for 30 points is terribly powerful.

Try the Eye of Night. that Haywire Maelstrom is pretty crazy when it lands...

Id figure oblits on one side storm techs on the other and force him to chose a facing.

Dooooooooooooooooooooooooooom scythes could help too.

Mauler might work though i think both are In3 so ether way everything should explode.
