So the lore references Snots (Snotlings) yet there is no longer a model or rules for them since 2nd edition (they were removed in 3rd)? Whats up with that? I hope these guys are brought back.

The lore also mentioned Squats in the 6th or 5th main rulebook. Or maybe 7th. I dunno, I'm bad with figuring out when things happened by memory alone.

I hope they make a new set of snotling bases for WHFB at least. The old one is still fun, but I hate working with metal...
40K snotlings could be interesting, although I don't know how they'd represent them rules-wise. Gretchin already have snotling stats. S1 T1 with multiple wounds doesn't really work because everything will annihilate them.

They're still there as ammo for the Shokk Attack Gun. You just don't get extra bases of them any more. Presumably any that are not currently being sucked into the SAG are just running around ineffectually. In 2nd ed they were purchased as swarm bases, which you could 'spend' as ammo for the SAG, or run around in a dribbly little horde.

Oh really? What about for occupying a tactical object? Or what about for just plain soaking up bullets?

I'm definitely not against some more ork units being added. And the bubble wrapping your bubble wrap concept doesn't sound bad, Redundant, but who cares?

Exactly. Plus if they are going to be in the lore they should be used right?

Unless they can top the name Pump Wagon, they won't be worth adding.

New unit idea:
Snot launcha - catapult that fires units of snotlings at enemy squads, for the sole purpose of tying them up in a round of combat straight away
