As some of you know I have an ever expanding Pre Heresy Sons of Horus army, With the recent addition of Solar Auxilia (Imperial Army), I am intrigued and thinking about trying to make Byzant Janizars (Imperial Army attached to 63rd Expeditionary Fleet). However I can't seem to find any reference to their uniform colors, Is there anyone out there that happens to know of a reference to the colors in one of the Black Library HH Books?

Off the top of my head, I don't recall any description of the Janizars.

FWIW, and take with a massive grain of salt or two-thousand, the 40K Wiki gives their colors as "Chrome helmets with scarlet; cream greatcoats with gold frogging" Unsourced, of course, so again, may not be worth the pixels it's illuminated with.

I suppose you could use one of these Ottoman (non-Janissary) uniforms for inspiration (pretend they're cream...you've got greatcoat and gold frogging. Can't have everything!):

I was thinking something along the lines of gold armor with red fatigues and maybe a few creme colored accents, It gives a "nod" to the unsourced scheme, as well as the schemes of the Classic Byzantines/Janissaries etc.

I'm pretty sure they are referred to as having cream coats with red sashes/plumes, gold embellishment and silver helms.
