Draigo is back at a lower point level, but his enemies continue to be just as nasty! Can Draigo avenge himself from his previous defeat?

Good game! My thoughts on some rules interpretations that made the game much closer than it should have been:

1. Targeting the Invisible unit with the beam weapon. I myself think you can't snap fire a beam weapon, so you can't target an Invisible unit. If the beam targets a different unit, but the beam continues through and hits an invisible unit, I'd think that would work. If he hadn't been able to hit your Draigostar with the Death Scythes, you could have crushed your opponent in about two turns.

2. The Death Scythe targeting two separate units, and shooting behind it. I'm pretty sure both of those are a no-no as well. Though I say that as a non-Necron player who admittedly does not know if there is some special rule for their Scythes.

I like that list you ran, though with the new Codex I think Heavy Psycannons are ridiculously awesome on Dreadknights over the Incinerators.

Yeah, both those points are debated on whether they can do it or not. The Invis is a question of whether the beam that targets two points on the ground counts as targeting an Invis unit and the Death Ray is a question of whether it is turret mounted.

The Death Ray special rule for firing allows it to ignore invisibility (it doesn't target units to fire, it just paints a line on the table and hits anything underneath).
It's been gone over enough in YMDC.
They'll probably fix it once the new codex comes out in January.
