Where does one get a Heavy Flamer for the Land Speeder Storm? I have two Land Speeder Typhoons and the parts for the Heavy Flamer from them, but they don't seem to be compatible with the Storm. I initially had my Storm equipped with a Heavy Bolter, but I figured a HF would be much better due to the low BS of Scouts. However, I can't get the HF to fit with the gunner Scout in place.

Any pointers? Am I using the wrong HF?

Well, I ended up finding a thread in Painting and Modeling, eventually. I am going to take the Land Speeder Multimelta, cut the barrels off and flatten the top off, cut the bottom of the Heavy Flamer off to attach the tanks (upside down so they are on the top with the tubing running along the top). I am then going to attach the barrel of the Heavy Flamer to the front, filling in gaps if necessary. I will post some pictures if possible of what I am doing and progress. This doesn't seem like it should be that hard.

By the way, can this get moved to Painting and Modeling?

Moved to the P&M section.

Glad you found a conversion idea for this, hope it goes well!

Thanks for moving the thread.

I am not a big fan of cutting apart MM to create this, but I need the HBs for the actual Land Speeder Typhoons. I do also want to keep the HB from the LSS intact, just in case I change my mind and want to put it back in there. If this plays poorly, I will probably change it back.

I will suply pictures later but I used the arm flamer from the plastic dread. Works very nice. Also have it magnetized.

The only arm flamers I have are from a Sternguard and a Wolf Guard Terminator one. The Sternguard one is likely going to see use at some point. The Wolf Guard Terminator one would involve scraping all the wolfy bits off of it before I could use it for my scout. I think it sucks that there is not actual model for use with the LSS, but oh well. Cobbling together stuff has been one of my favorite parts of this hobby. Today is going to be kitbash day, making stuff for my Sternguards as well.

This is the way I have done it. the cabeling on this heavy flamer is very suitable for this with very little modification.
