Hey guys, I’m creating a list that consists of a 1000point core and several 500 point add-ons depending on the opponent. Do take note I only have the two wave serpents and no bikes. It’s a semi-competitive list playing against other semi-competitive armies.
1000 point core:
- Farseer, Singing Spear, Runes of Witnessing, Spirit stone of Anath-Lan
- Autarch, Jetbike, Mantle, Laser lance, fusion gun, banshee mask
- Guardians, wave serpent w scatter laser,holofield, shurikan cannon
- Guardians, wave serpent w scatter laser,holofield, shurikan cannon
- 3 Warlocks, 1 with singing spear
- Fire Prism, Holo-field
Each wave serpent will have 1 model with a singing spear and a warlock. The autarch just trolls with his cover save and the fire prism does what it wants
500 points against Eldar
- Dark Reapers, Exarch, Star Shot missiles x3(the
str 8 ones)

- 5 Warp Spiders, Exarch, Fast Shot, Spinneret Rifle

The Dark reapers will hopefully kill wave serpents with their jink save ignoring missile launchers, and any bikes with the strength 5 version. The warp spiders could kill any war walkers or rear armour of vehicles.
500 points Against Dark Eldar
- 5 Warp Spiders, Exarch, Spinneret Rifle
- 5 Warp Spiders, Exarch, Spinneret Rifle
- 2 dual scatter laser war walker
- 2 Dual shurikan cannon war walker
This will hopefully add some strength 7,6 power the dark elder hate so much. Is it worth making the war walkers have 1 of each weapon instead of dual wielding.
500 points Against Power Armour
- Crimson Hunter
- 5 Warp Spiders
- Dark Reapers, Exarch, Fast Shot, Tempest
- Dark Reapers, Exarch, Fast Shot, Tempest
I Was considering dropping the fast shot and tempest for StarShot and some upgrades for the Warp Spiders, the hunter may help against any excessive high armour or storm ravens.
500 Points against Grey Knights
- Hemlock Wraithfighter
- Hemlock Wraithfighter
- Warp Spiders, Exarch, spinneret rifle, fast Shot
I know the current armies for
GK is dreadknights and terminator troops, the hemlocks may provide a lucky strength D against the Dreadknight . The warp spiders are to counter any auto-cannon dreadnoughts or predators.
500 points against Daemons
- 5 Warp Spiders, Exarch, Spinneret Rifle
- 5 Warp Spiders, Exarch, Spinneret Rifle
- 2 dual scatter laser war walker
- 2 Dual shurikan cannon war walker
Yes I know this is the same as the
DE army, but the large quantity of relatively high strength weapons with volume of fire should work against the low save of daemons and chariots/skull cannon.
500 points against Ork/Tyranids
- Wraithknight
- 5 Warp Spiders, Exarch, spinneret rifle, fast shot
- 6 swooping hawks
Should I separate these or will they work against both of them?

I have used the Wraithknight to great success and the warp spiders work wonders against rear armour of anti-air platform, leman russes
