Hey guys!

i just bought a box of flash gitz and i found those models so cool! But they are priiiiiicey in terms of points! I bought a squiggot as well an i was planning to put the crazy unit inside to shoot while moving on the battlefield. Do you play them in battle wagon or behind covers? Whats your tactica to have a fully good use of those expensive mofo ?

It's quite likely that you can't shoot out of a squiggoth.

I cant shoot out from a squiggoth??? I think i have read that it was possible, i will try to found the source!

IIRC, a Squiggoth is an Open-Topped Transport Monstrous Creature. Why would you not be able to shoot out of it? Because there are no rules for shooting out of a MC? If you want to make that argument, I will preemptively point out the rules for shooting out of a Transport-type.

I'm not dredging up an old 14-page flame war about this very subject, am I?

IIRC it's stated that it's an open-topped transport for embarking-disembarking purposes. That's it.
So, if you want to use a squiggoth as a shooting platform, you should first ask your opponents i they're gona allow it or not.

I run 5 in a trukk and park midfield. You can reach out and harrass any unit from there with that random AP. Some games they shine and other games they shoot like orks.
