A nice 24 point ship. Not sure I would take it over USS Defiant, I like the extra shield. Lots of crew for those interested in a mirror universe fleet. I am a little uncertain about how I feel about all of these ganking and disabling crew we are seeing that can work through shields. It kinda devalues some older cards that are more expensive.

yeah.. my poor dominion and klingon generally pay 5 pt discards to disable/discard others crew but only when sheilds are down....

I like that the new cards ignore that though, as even without them, I found all the 5 pt discards that only worked on shieldless ships to be a waste most of the time anyways.

just dont like the factions that got them... jem hadar and klingons should have more powerfull boarding actions IMO.

either way thanks for posting the preview, personally with the new wave and new OP rules I see the game over all improving

For those that missed it, here is a link to the Boargamegeek forums with the images of the cards.

Of interest to me is the amount of "Discard this card and disable upgrades on target ships" and the "roll two less attack dice" mechanics. I love Rebellion and Strafing Run and can see them being used a lot. Not real impressed with the Cpatains- but that's just because I play in a pure faction meta. Sisko and a bunch of Aft Phaser Emitters could be entertaining.
