The answer to all "how do I kill this" questions for the Imperium (minus flyers): Demolisher Cannons and Multi Meltas.

Thunderwolf cavalry are the best solution as with power fists and all their normal attacks that can rend. Will be able to take them down. But try not to focus too much on the wraithknight. From past experiences I've shot myself in the foot by always going out of my way to take them down, but in reality, there are bigger threats out there in an eldar list. So if the wraithknight just happens to be in the way then ok I'll deal with it. But your dealing with two so to kill one is recommended. Also I've noticed that the fatal flaw with some eldar players especially new ones are that they heavily overestimate the capabilities of the wraithknight and tend to make unnecessarily bold moves with them, and that's when you take your opening to launch your attack on them. Hope this helps

It does help he uses one for closecombat and other for shooting like you said taking one down is needed I've sadly never came close . I run a drop pod army with a vindicator razor back 4 drop pods

The Vindicator is an awful answer to the Wraith Knight

Indeed, although it is quite likely to take off a wound if it hits, it will take the entire game (6-7 turns) to kill a WK.

Plasma guns (even though they wound on 5's), Meltaguns and presumably Helfrost weapons would be better?

That's tough.
As said TWC with thunder hammers and storm shields could be the answer.
Single shots don't help like Vindicator blasts.
High strength multi-shots are required like cyclones.

Anything with storm shields. Termies, wolf cav, HQ, anything that can dish out s8.

Mobility is a must.

If you're having problems with anything non-flier, you haven't thrown enough Thunderwolf Cav at it

Grey Hunters with meltaspam would be my suggestion.

Thunderwolves with PF and SS can reliably beat WKs. They are fast enough to catch them, powerful enough to wound them, and have the ++ saves needed to survive. Hammernators can work if you have a land raider to chase down the WK with.

For long-ranged shooting, you need stuff that's high strength, at least AP3, and with the volume of fire to strip off the 12 wounds that the two WKs have. SW have a few good options:
- Long Fangs with ML or Lascannons
- Stormfang, Stormwolf
- Land Speeder Typhoon
- Predator Annihilator

Some others have mentioned Vindicators, and Grey Hunters with meltas. I don't think these are good choices - a Vindicator only causes 1 wound per turn, and the Grey Hunters waste all their bolter shots against WK (while also being in melee range, where the WK can eat them alive).

As an Eldar player, I must say TWC without a doubt, it's also great against the WS and many other units.

I like the StormPlanes too, but they may not be ideal.

I'd say the beastliest answer would be PF/SS wolf cav with a Force Axe toting RP.

"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

"So you think, Kaiba! I declared my Thousand Sons the cult of Duplicity, which means all my psykers have access to the Sorcerous Facade power! Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"

"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"

"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

Not sure if TWC are as great against a gaggle of wraithknights as you think.

I mean, before combat even starts there will be 4-6 s10 ap2 shots. Probably killing 1-2 cav outright. And of course, assuming he is smart enough to put them bpth into combat at the same time with the TWC, thats 10 s10 ap2 swings, about 6 wounds, another 2 TWC down.

Aftermath can be calculated.

Of course, the TWC unit should get the charge.
Thus the shots of the WK would be snap shots.
You need to put pressure on the Eldar army so that it cannot clearly focus on the TWC.

One unit of TWC butchers one WK.
Two units of TWC butcher two WK.

It's not much more complicated really.

And 10 swings is 5 hits and 4.2 wounds.

Alternatively, just get the knight locked in melee. With four attacks, hitting on 4+, a knight takes forever to kill rabble - if said rabble is fearless/ATSKNF.

Aren't you taking centurions in a drop pod ? Most SW players here do and those do realy well against high Av armored models.

Thunderwolves + IC + Fenrisian Wolves/Cyberwolves.

Charge, get an IC in base contact, have the cheap wolves closest to the IC, look out sir to the wolves, kill Wraithknight with power fists.

Centurions are indeed a good choice, albeit a bit one-shot.

The wraith knight is broken. It is all but immune to melee, and you can't one shot it. I have to deal with a WK and crimson hunter combo, and have yet to beat it. I would advise many many many lascannon and snipers, although I haven't tried yet.
