How did you achieve that eye in the bolter?

1. black pupil
2. green color- iris
3. extreme white, which would emphasize border of the iris
4. consistently shed light yellow and red
5. two white point- glare
..and a lot of patience))

No, this scheme painting was invented on the fly, but in the end I realized that it is similar to Nurgle SM

That audibly made me say "Holy crap!" out loud. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out my favorite part of the model; I'm not sure if it's the candy striped bolter with the Chaos star on it, the freehand on the shoulderpad, or the crackling armor.

But busying up an already busy model makes my eyes bleed.

Also: The flesh parts look a bit dull and flat in comparison.

...It's still an awesome study in miniature painting.

Well you got something pretty unique with this paint scheme and I really would like to see you do a whole army like this. In addition, you should look up the fluff on the Dornian Heresy.

Basically it is a What If scenario where Dorn fell to chaos instead of Horus.

You have something similar (with the cracked yellow armor) but far better than what others have conceptualized for a Chaos Imperial Fist paint scheme.
